Intriguing posters are released for the upcoming highly anticipated Korean drama “Connection.”
“Connection” is an upcoming intense crime chase investigation thriller Kdrama starring Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do. Recently, a main poster and two character posters were released for the drama.
The first poster features both Ji Sung and Jeon Mi Do investigating a case. The caption reads, “At the beginning of the connection, we were there.” The second poster showcases Ji Sung’s character’s two sides: one as a respectable detective and the other as an anxious detective. Finally, the third poster features Jeon Mi Do’s character’s two sides: in one, she looks happy, while in the other, she looks tired as money rains down on her.
“Connection” will tell the story of a detective from the narcotics unit, who forcibly gets addicted to the drugs by someone, who also has a connection with the death of his friend, and an outspoken reporter.
Jang Jae Kyung (portrayed by Ji Sung), an inspector within the narcotics division of the metropolitan investigation team. His character is characterized by a calm and methodical nature. He becomes a drug addict against his will. Here, Jang Jae Kyung finds a connection with an old high school friend who gave a life insurance payout of over 5 billion won after he chose death. He is now on a quest of finding where, exactly his current situation has connection with that event.
On the other hand, Oh Yun Jin (Jeon Mi Do), a woman who returns to her hometown after being unjustly fired from a major daily newspaper. She starts working as the head of the economics department at a shabby newspaper company. Oh Yoon Jin is a character who shows her true friendship when she hears the news that a high school friend, who was sending her living expenses while her husband and children immigrated abroad, has left her a 5 billion won insurance payout. Jang Jae Kyung and Oh Yun Jin both are former classmates who reunites after 20 years to solve the mysterious case.
“Connection” will release this May on 24 at South Korean broadcasting network SBS.
