Synopsis
“Wonderland” Korean movie tells the story of a virtual world “wonderland” where people can reunite with deceased people or people they may never meet again by using artificial intelligence. The place provides a video call service that connects people with their loved ones.
Desperate to see her lover again, Jeong In (Bae Suzy) finds herself in Wonderland to reconnect with Park Tae Ju (Park Bo Gum), who fell into a coma.
A man in his 40s is greatly impacted by the death of his cherished wife, Bai Li (Tang Wei). He seeks comfort in Wonderland as he wishes to see her once again in the hopes of finding peace.
The interaction in “Wonderland” is overseen by Kim Hyun Soo (Choi Woo Shik) and Seo Hae Ri (Jung Yu Mi). They control and provide the experience of reconnecting to their visitors.
Through these bittersweet meetings, Wonderland transforms into a haven for people who are seeking to make amends with their past and move on.
