A historical Netflix original Kdrama is coming and Son Ye Jin (Thirty-Nine), Ji Chang Wook (Gangnam B-Side) & Nana (My Man Is Cupid) are confirmed to be the main leads in it.
Interestingly the drama is based on an R-rated 2003 Korean film “Untold Scandal”
“Scandals” will tell the story of three individuals engaged in a dangerous love game. Cho Won (Ji Chang Wook) is a handsome man who doesn’t believe in love still likes to date women. One day, he takes the challenge to seduce Lady Cho (Son Ye Jin) and does whatever it takes to win her over. Meanwhile, Hui Yeon (Nana) who is a widow finds herself attracted to Cho Won despite resisting.
Lady Cho, which will be played by Son Ye Jin, is a smart and charming woman who dares to go against the rules of her time. She secretly makes a bet about love and confidently starts a game of temptation with her admirer, Cho Won.
And Hui Yeon, portrayed by Nana, is a widow who has lived a quiet, pure life. But when she meets Cho Won, she finds it hard to resist him. She tries to stay away, but keeps getting drawn back, torn between her emotions and her values.
With this cast and such an intriguing storyline, I’m already first in line for this drama! What about you? “Scandals” is looking to release in 2026.
