Overview: “Mousetrap” Kdrama (also known as “Field Mouse”) is a Netflix original drama series that released on August 28, 2026, and starring Ryu Jun Yeol, Sul Kyung Gu, and Lee Kyu Hyung. It will tell the story of a novelist who was entirely dependent on his close friend for his existence to the outside world because of his social anxiety, but soon he discovers that his friend has disappeared and his identity has been stolen.

Synopsis
“Mousetrap” Korean drama tells the story of reclusive novelist Je Moon Jae, whose name, identity, property, and even access to his phone are suddenly taken by someone known as “Rat.” When his only friend also disappears, Moon Jae starts searching for Rat to get his life back. His search leads him to Noja, a calm but dangerous loan shark who runs a private detective agency. Noja has been looking for Moon Jae for three years after Moon Jae borrowed money from him and disappeared. He joins the search for Rat to get his money back.
