A new trailer of Squid Game featuring Gong Yoo is out there!
The trailer begins with Gong Yoo starting his day at 3:00 p.m. with a cup of coffee while playing classical music. After taking a bath, he soon opens a locked cupboard. From there, he takes out the playing cards and puts them in his special suitcase. He then places the invitation card for Squid Game in his pocket. Before it turns 4:00 p.m., he is ready to go. Exactly at 4:00 p.m., he reaches his destination, where he now asks the viewers:
“Sir, would you like to play a game with me?”
Squid Game is the most successful series all around the world, which released on 17 October 2021. Its director Hwang Dong-hyuk became the first Asian to win Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series at the 74th Primetime Emmys. It tells the story of 456 individuals who participate in a deadly game with only one winner and a large prize. In Season 2, Player 456, who was the winner of the first game, returns for a new round of Squid Game after three years, this time with a plan.
In Season 2 Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Jun, and Gong Yoo will reprise their roles from Season 1 while the new cast members will have Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Gyu Young, Lee Jin Uk, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Sim, Lee David, Choi Seung Hyun, Roh Jae Won, Jo Yu Ri, and Won Ji An. They are going to act as the new participants in the deadly Squid Game.
“Squid Game 2” is confirmed to release this December on 26th on Netflix.
