Im Siwan, Lee Sun Bin And More Confirmed For Upcoming High School Kdrama “Boyhood”
A new exciting high-school Korean drama has confirmed to be star studded with Im Siwan (Summer Strike), Lee Sun Bin (Work Later, Drink Now Season 2), Lee Shi Woo (See You in My 19th Life) and Kang Hye Won (Seasons of Blossom) in it.
The upcoming Kdrama goes by the name “Boyhood” (or “Boy’s Generation”). It tells the story of students at Buyeo Agricultural High School in Chungcheong Province in the 1980s. The story begins with Jang Byeong Tae, who has just been transferred to Buyeo Agricultural High School. Although he was weak and bullied in his previous school, here he is mistaken for the best fighter in Buyeo. Consequently, he becomes the most powerful boy in his new school. He becomes entangled with three other powerful students:
Park Ji Young, popularly known as “Buyeo’s black spider,” Jung Kyung Tae, popularly known as “Asan’s white tiger,” and Kang Sun Hwa, the Queen Bee of the school.
It is confirmed that Im Siwan will portray the role of transfer student Jang Byeong Tae, while Lee Sun Bin will play Black Spider Park Ji Young. Lee Shi Woo and Kang Hye Won are set to portray White Tiger and Queen Bee, respectively.
The exact premiere date of “Boyhood” drama is yet to be disclosed, but it is confirmed to air in the second half of this year.
