A fresh rom-com couple has been confirmed for the upcoming TV Chosun rom-com K-drama “Sigor Amor.” The new pair is Kim Ji Hoon (Dear X) and Park Ju Hyun (Hunter with a Scalpel), who will lead the drama, which is set in the traditional market of Myeongsan-gun.
The story revolves around a lawyer who collects debts and is still trying to survive in life. After becoming the head of the market’s merchants’ association, his viewpoint on life changes as he meets the people of the market.
Meanwhile, a former police sergeant returns to her hometown to run a butcher shop. Both carry wounds from the past, but together they learn the meaning of family and love.
Kim Ji Hoon will play a debt-collecting lawyer, while Park Ju Hyun will play a butcher shop owner.
Filming for the drama is reportedly set to begin in the second half of this year, and it is expected to be released later this year.
