We have a first look of the upcoming anticipated Korean drama “Romance In The House,” which has Kim Ji Soo, Ji Jin Hee, Son Naeun and Shinee’s Minho in the main cast.
The newly released trailer shows chaos in the family. In the opening scenes, it appears that things are not going well between Kim Ji Soo and Ji Jin Hee, who portray a married couple in the drama. Kim Ji Soo is fed up with her unemployed husband, and things eventually lead to divorce. Then, in the next scene, we see a television showing an accident, accompanied by Kim Ji Soo’s voice saying, ‘Your father has died.’ However, in the subsequent scene, Ji Jin Hee returns, this time wealthy and even becomes the owner of the building where Kim Ji Soo and the kids live.
The trailer looks fun and promises an engaging family drama with plenty of laughs and romance. I’ll be looking forward to it, especially considering the talented cast featured in the drama.
“Romance In The House” tells a family romance drama story of four people who always feel something is missing in their lives and find it when they come together as a family. Byun Moo Jin (Ji Jin Hee) and Geum Ae Yeon (Kim Ji Soo) are ex husband and wife. They divorced 14 years ago when Byun Moo Jin lost in his business. They also have a daughter Byun Mi Rae (Son Naeun). She is the eldest daughter who is always in trouble due to her family. Today mother and daughter again cross paths with Byun Moo Jin. However, now he is a billionaire.
Meanwhile, Nam Tae Pyong (Choi Minho) is a security guard at a local supermarket. He was a member of the Taekwondo National Team earlier. He will become the love interest of Byun Mi Rae in the drama.
“Romance in the House” is confirmed to premiere on August 10 at 10:30 p.m. KST on broadcast network jTBC after “Miss Night and Day.”
