Lee Jung Eun (Miss Night and Day) and Kim Ji Won (Queen of Tears) are considering the role together in a medical drama “Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia”
The drama is a dark medical drama about Gye Soo Jung (offered to Kim Ji Won), a brilliant surgeon who left her old life behind because of a troubled past. Now, she uses her incredible talent in the operating room to bravely battle a broken and corrupt system.
Meanwhile, Lee Jung Eun plays Jeong Hee Sook, a brilliant surgeon who was once nicknamed “the monster” and now runs a medical services agency. These days, Jeong Hee-sook is portrayed as someone who’s obsessed with money and naturally cunning. Although not related to blood Gye Soo Jung calls her aunt.
The drama is scheduled to be aired on SBS and will begin filming in the second half of this year. So, it is expected to release in 2026.
