A new Netflix crime thriller series has confirmed a stellar cast including Shin Min Ah (Our Blues), Park Hae Soo (Money Heist: Korea 2), Lee Hee Joon (Blood Free), Kim Sung Kyun (Moving), Lee Kwang Soo (The Killer’s Shopping List), and Gong Seung Yeon (The First Responders Season 2).
The drama is called “Karma” (also known as Bad Affair) and it will be based on a webtoon. It is expecting to have a total of 6 episodes.
“Karma” will tell a suspenseful crime thriller story having 6 characters who gets entangled with each other, without even knowing when and where it began and gets involved in an ill-fated relationship which they cannot escape.
Shin Min Ah is confirmed to play the role of Doctor Joo Yeon, a surgeon at Sungsim General Hospital, who grapples with a traumatic past that haunts her through nightmares. Her past resurfaces when she encounters a familiar face that terrifies her.
Park Hae Soo is confirmed to play the role of a mysterious man who becomes a witness to an accident. He strikes a deal with someone trying to cover up the case, but one day, that deal falls apart.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung Kyun is portraying the role of a person who unfairly loses his job and end up doing a task involving huge money. Lee Hee Joon will play a character who gets trapped in huge debt after taking loans from loan sharks to invest in cryptocurrency.
Lee Kwang Soo is confirmed to portray the role of a successful doctor who is also the head of a private hospital in Gangnam. An incident changes his life forever. Gong Seung Yeon will play the role of his girlfriend who is famously a femme fatale.
So far the releasing date of “Karma” is yet to be disclosed.
