Song Kang sweet home season 2 Netflix

Netflix’s hit Korean drama series, “Sweet Home,” has created a buzz among fans as they eagerly anticipate the release of its second season.

In a unique move to engage its diverse audience, Netflix released Season 1 videos with dubbed versions in 15 languages from around the world. Which includes the dialogues seamlessly transitioning between Korean and languages such as Japanese, Indonesian, Hindi, Turkic, Thai, French, and Spanish, among others.

The first season, which debuted in 2020, not only ranked 3rd globally in the Netflix TV show category but also garnered widespread popularity, setting high expectations for the upcoming installment. Adding to the excitement, Netflix pre-released the first three episodes of “Sweet Home” Season 2 exclusively to the media.

Season 2 will also be provided with subtitles and dubbing services in over 30 languages. This strategic move underscores the streaming giant’s commitment to making the series accessible to a wider audience, transcending language barriers.

“Sweet Home S2” Cast

The highly anticipated second season boasts a star-studded cast, including Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Go Min Si, Park Gyu Young, Jinyoung, Yoo Oh Seong, Oh Jeong Se, and Kim Mu Yeol.

“Sweet Home S1” Summary

“Sweet Home” Season 1 told the story of Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang) who after losing his family moves into a new apartment. Strange things start happening in his new neighborhood. People are turning into monsters and the humanity is at stake. Now Cha Hyun Soo and other people in the apartment building tries to protect themselves from the infected people who have turned into monsters. However, Cha Hyun Soo himself starts showing the symptoms of a monster, but he refuses to become one. Later, he becames a weapon to fight monsters and was the only hope for the residents of Green Home, while also being a threat.

Season 1 ended with Cha Hyun Soo, who gained monster wings, leaving Green Home residents fearing him.

“Sweet Home S2” Synopsis

Season 2 depicts Cha Hyun Soo, who suffered from the unclear boundary between humans and monsters, trying to create a vaccine to end this whole situation, even if he is being used. The survivors of ‘Green Home’ residents scatters after an unidentified ‘monster transformation’ incident occurs, traveling through devastated Seoul, and confronting creatures with different abilities.

Lee Eun Yu (played by Go Min Si), Yoon Ji Soo (played by Park Gyu Young) and others who survived from season 1 follow the soldiers to the safety camp, while Seo Yi Kyung (played by Lee Si Young) struggles to find her husband.

“Sweet Home” Season 2 will be released on December 1 exclusively on Netflix with a total of 8 episodes.
