Yoo Eun Ho and Lee Dong Jin, once deeply in love, divorce after two years of marriage. Despite their separate lives, they continue to meet regularly, sharing breakfasts, arguing like a married couple, and commemorating their anniversary. Internal monologues reveal their struggles with lingering feelings and fear of starting anew. The unresolved pain from a stillborn baby adds complexity to their relationship, leaving them hesitant to confront the past and move forward.

Korean drama Emergency Couple

“Emergency Couple” is a popular drama with top star ratings that released on January 24, 2014, starring Song Ji Hyo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Lee Pil Mo, Choi Yeo Jin and Clara Lee in the main cast.

A unique story unfolds when a divorced couple reunites after 6 years and finds themselves stuck in an emergency room for 3 months. Oh Chan Min, a former medical student, and Oh Jin Hee, a dietitian, first fell in love despite family disapproval. Their marriage faced challenges due to differences in family status and their young age. Failing to understand each other, they separated and pursued their medical careers. A freshly written plot where a lady tries to get back with her ex-husband. Released on 27 February, “Cunning Single Lady” stars Lee Min Jung, Joo Sang Wook, Seo Kang Joon in the main cast.

Na Ae Ra is a sought-after beauty, but she dreams of marrying a civil servant. She meets Cha Jung Woo, who is studying for the civil service exam. They fall in love, marry, but Jung Woo later chooses to become a businessman. Ae Ra supports him, but despite her efforts, things go south, leading to a divorce. Years later, Ae Ra faces financial struggles, learning Jung Woo is now successful. Desperate, she considers reuniting, but people question her intentions. Will they reconcile, or will she be seen as a gold digger chasing money?

4. Once Again

Korean drama Once Again

A 100 episodes family drama that is worth watching, “Once Again” stars Lee Sang Yeob and Lee Min Jung in the main cast. It released on March 28, 2020.

It tells the story of Song family which has a miserly father, a cute but materialistic mother, and their four grown children. The family never had a happy day and with their children the things even lead to divorce. Their first and second child live with them after divorce and their third child is also having an unhappy marriage. The drama focus on love and emotions that comes with family.

5. The Third Charm

Korean drama The Third Charm

Starring Seo Kang Joon and Esom “The Third Charm” released on September 28, 2018.

“The Third Charm” delves into the tumultuous twelve-year on-and-off relationship between On Joon Young and Lee Young Jae, portraying the realistic highs and lows of love. Despite multiple attempts to make it work, their conflicting personalities lead to a final decision to part ways. Each embarks on a new journey—On Joo Young pursuing his dream of becoming a chef, and Lee Young Jae starting a fresh chapter with someone else. The drama emphasizes that life isn’t centered around a single person, encouraging the idea that one can move on and find improvement with time.

6. My Father Is Strange 

Korean drama My Father Is Strange

Another highly popular family drama starring Kim Yeong Cheol, Kim Hae Sook, Ryu Soo Young, Lee Yu Ri, Lee Joon, Jung So Min, Min Jin Woong, Ryu Hwa Young, and Ahn Hyo Seop, “My Father is Strange” released in 2017.

It tells the story of a family living in Seoul. Their family includes father and his wife with three daughters and one son. Hye Yeong, Mi Yeong, Ra Yeong, and Joon Young, all struggle through various problems of life like career, marriage, love and in-laws. One day a popular singer-actor comes at the restaurant of their father and calls him his father. Their eldest daughter Byeon Hye Yeong dated Cha Jung Hwan back in college but broke up suddenly. After 8 years they meet each other again on a class reunion. Eventually, they decide to date again after having few fights.
