tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama has unveiled some new stills for the show, interestingly it’s based on the captivating web novel “The Best of Tomorrow.” Additionally, the drama’s script is penned by the talented Lee Si Eun, known for her work on the popular drama “True Beauty.”
“Carry Sun Jae And Run” Kdrama tells the time-slip romance fantasy tale of Ryu Sun Jae (played by Byun Woo Seok), a celebrated celebrity with good looks, immense talent, and undeniable charm. Despite his outward success, the burdens of his celebrity life lead to a tragic early end. However, a girl named Im Sol (portrayed by Kim Hye Yoon) who mysteriously finds herself thrown back in time, decides to save him from his tragic fate.
Im Sol was an ardent fan of Ryu Sun Jae. She was forced to abandon her dreams due to an accident in her youth. Her lifeline becomes Ryu Sun Jae’s music, which brings her solace during her ordinary days. One day, she gets an unexpected opportunity to travel 15 years into the past. There she meets the 19 year old Ryu Sun Jae. She decides to change his fate.
In the first set of stills, we see Byun Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon both in high school attire. In one image, Byun Woo Seok stands in the rain, holding an umbrella, while Kim Hye Yoon looks shocked, as if she might run any minute. The third still is intriguing, with Byun Woo Seok closely observing Kim Hye Yoon, who appears baffled with her arms raised. It’s unclear what’s happening, but one thing is certain—their height difference in the series looks cute. These stills truly pique curiosity for more.
Korean drama “Carry Sun Jae and Run” is expected to release sometimes in 2024 on tvN.
