Ohh! It feels like it’s been ages since we’ve had a purely comedic Korean drama, but fear not – “Chicken Nugget” has arrived to fill that void.
Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Ryu Seung Ryong bring us a delightfully mysterious comedy Korean drama with “Chicken Nugget.” Just hours ago, Netflix dropped its first trailer, and it’s brimming with humor and intrigue.
The trailer begins with a humorous scene featuring Ahn Jae Hong and Ryu Seung Ryong. Shortly after, Kim Yoo Jung appears, expressing excitement over a purple cabinet and entering it. However, when her father opens the cabinet, she transforms into a chicken nugget. Complications arise when Ahn Jae Hong accidentally mixes her with the other nuggets.
Interestingly, we also spot Jung Ho Yeon (from “Squid Game”) in the trailer, where she informs Ryu Seung Ryong that the chicken nugget is not his daughter. She will be making a cameo appearance in the web series.
“Chicken nugget” story will center around a mysterious machine that make people turn into fried chicken. Choi Min Ah (Kim Yoo Jung) is the daughter of a CEO, Choi Seon Man (Ryu Seung Ryong). She gets turned into a fried chicken by the mysterious machine after she thought the machine helps to recover people from tiredness. Choi Seon Man tries his best to turn his daughter back into human.
Meanwhile, Go Baek Joong (Ahn Jae Hong) is an intern at Choi Seon Man’s company. He likes Min Ah.
“Chicken Nugget” is based on a webtoon and comes from the PD of drama “Melo is My Nature”. It is confirmed to release on March 15, exclusively on Netflix with 12 episodes.
