Lee Min Ho Wanted To Become a Football Player, But He Didn’t Due To This Reason

Lee min ho dream

Did you know that before Lee Min Ho became the heartthrob actor we all adore, he actually wanted to be a professional football player?

Yep, that’s right! From a young age, Lee Min Ho was passionate about soccer. He was even one of the top students at FC Chamboom, a youth football club coached by the legendary Cha Bum Kun. But then, life threw him a curveball—an accident in school that forced him to give up on his football dreams.

In a candid interview with DramaFever, Lee Min Ho mentioned that if things had gone differently, he might have ended up working in the gaming industry instead of becoming the superstar actor we know today. He even said that if he hadn’t pursued acting, he’d probably be out on the football field right now.

But let’s be honest—aren’t we glad he chose acting? Imagine a world without Lee Min Ho lighting up our screens! While he didn’t get to follow his football dreams, he’s still a huge soccer fan, especially of Manchester United. He even showed off some of his football moves in the drama “Boys Over Flowers.”

And here’s a fun little tidbit: Lee Min Ho is left-footed, which made him stand out even more as a player.

Although his path changed, we’re so thankful it did. His journey just goes to show that sometimes life’s unexpected turns lead us exactly where we’re meant to be. And for Lee Min Ho, that place is right where his fans love him—on our screens!
