A very sweet romantic comedy is coming soon to the K-drama world called “Love Andante.”
“Love Andante” is an upcoming original K-drama produced by Lifetime (라이프타임) and TVING, starring Kwon Hyun Bin, Song Ji Woo, Hwang Seung Eon, Im Seul Ong, and Oh Ha Nee in the main cast. It will release on August 7th with a total of 12 episodes expected to air weekly.
“Love Andante” will tell the story of a fictional peace village project in the DMZ area of Goseong, Gangwon Province, established 70 years after the Korean War ends, aimed at fostering peace. This project requires North and South Koreans to live together for a year. Meanwhile, Im Joo Hyung and Ha Na Kyung are accidentally assigned to live together in the village.
Im Joo Hyung (played by Kwon Hyun Bin) is South Korea’s top pianist, seeking a break from his busy life by living in the peace village. There, he is supposed to live with a North Korean, Ha Na Kyung (played Song Ji Woo). She is the daughter of a high-ranking North Korean official and a respected pharmacist who has only learned about love from books. Na Kyung is more practical and undergoes significant changes after living with Im Joo Hyung.
Newly released character posters show Kwon Hyun Bin and Song Ji Woo on a beach. Kwon Hyun Bin looks at Song Ji Woo, with the caption reading “I want to look cool in front of her.” Meanwhile, Song Ji Woo plays the violin, with the caption “Are you getting better?” Things become clearer after watching the trailer; it seems they both aren’t thrilled about the idea of living together.
