If confirmed they are highly likely to be each other’s friends. Currently, both actresses are positively looking to star in the drama.
“39” Kdrama will center around the lives of three friends who are about to turn 40. It will depict the stories of their everyday struggle with career, family, friends and romance. Cha Mi Jo is one of those friend who belongs to a rich family. She is the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jung Chan Young is a friend of Cha Mi Jo who is an acting teacher.

Son Ye Jin and Jeon Mi Do are likely to take the roles of wealthy dermatologist Cha Mi Jo and teacher Jung Chan Young respectively. If confirmed “39” will be Son Ye Jin’s first drama after her mega hit “Crash Landing On You”. While Jeon Mi Do is currently preparing to star in the second season of Hospital Playlist. It is likely to release this June.
Drama “39” will be a 12 episode drama and will release on broadcast network jTBC. It comes from the writer of drama “Encounter” and PD of “Run On”. The filming for the drama will begin in the second half of 2021.
