Synopsis
“Song of the Bandits” Korean drama tells the story of the Joseon period, when a group of people who come from various occupations unite to protect Koreans when Korea was under the Japanese colonial rule.
Lee Yoon (Kim Nam Gil) is a former Japanese soldier in the Korean military who leaves everything behind and becomes a bandit to protect the locals.
Nam Hee Shin (Seo Hyun) is a section chief in the railway bureau under the Japanese government who conceals her real identity.
Choi Choong Soo (Yoo Jae Myung) is a former commander in Korea’s independence movement who is now an independent activist in Jiandao.
Lee Kwang Il (Lee Hyun Wook), a cunning Japanese military officer, gets involved with Lee Yoon.
Eon Nyeon Yi (Lee Ho Jung), a contract killer and expert in handling guns, is sent to Jiandao on a mission to kill Lee Yoon.
