Synopsis
“The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call” Korean drama tells the story of Baek Gang Hyeok, a skilled trauma surgeon with experience in conflict zones worldwide. Confident and determined, he starts working at a university hospital struggling with finances, leading the severe trauma team. His unorthodox methods and unwavering confidence initially clash with the existing team.
However, he gradually earns their respect and leads them towards becoming a top-tier trauma unit. The team consists of Yang Jae Won, nurse Cheon Jang Mi, and anesthesiologist resident Park Gyeong Won. Yang Jae Won, originally from the proctology department, is recruited by Baek Gang Hyeok and becomes his first student. Together, they transform the severe trauma team into a vital, life-saving force at the hospital.
