Synopsis
“The Winning Try” Korean drama tells the story of former rugby star Ju Ga Ram returns to his high school as a coach, reunites with his ex-girlfriend, and leads a struggling team toward the national championship.
Ju Ga Ram, a rising Rugby player’s career was destroyed by a drug scandal. Now, three years later, he returns as the coach of his struggling former high school team. With fierce charisma and tough leadership, he aims to rebuild both the team and himself. At the same school, he unexpectedly reunites with his ex-girlfriend, Bae I Ji, now a shooting coach. Among the seven players is Seong Jun, a hardworking captain overshadowed by his talented twin brother. Battling feelings of inferiority, Seong Jun pushes himself to prove he belongs in the world of sports.
