“The Legend Of The Blue Sea” tells the love story between a mermaid and a human. In the Joseon era Dam Ryung and mermaid Sim Chang are unable to be together due to their poor fate. In the modern times a conman Joon Jae who looks like Dam Ryung travels to Spain. There Sim Chang is thrown away from the ocean near a resort where Joon Jae is staying. She develops feelings for him and follows him back to Seoul.
