Synopsis
“The Tale of Lady Ok” Korean drama will center around the survival story of a Joseon slave who fakes her identity to change her life.
Goo Deok is a slave. She changes her name to Ok Tae Young and becomes a female attorney who is loved by everyone. She helps the people of Joseon when in trouble. However, everything about her is fake, even her husband. As her secret is on the brink of being exposed, Ok Tae Young meets Cheon Seung Hwi.
Cheon Seung Hwi belongs to a prestigious family who is also a storyteller and a traveller. He goes around reading novels for people. When Cheon Seung Hwi meets Ok Tae Young, he immediately falls in love with her. Therefore, when he finds about her secret, he decides to protect her at all cost.
