Synopsis
“Into The Ring” tells a romance story between Goo Se Ra (Nana) and Seo Gong Myung (Park Sung Hoon). Goo Se Ra is a confident girl despite her poor background. She did many part time jobs and is famous in her office for filing complaints. Seo Gong Myung is a civil servant with a strict personality. He doesn’t want to be friends with anyone and no one likes him in his office. His life changes after he meets Goo Se Ra.

- Nana plays the role of a confident girl Goo Se Ra who has been complaining to the district office for the past 15 years. She wish to grab the District People’s Council job to better her life after she heard that it pays 50 million won for a mere 90 working days.
- Park Sung Hoon plays the role of Seo Gong Myung who is a civil servant with strict personality. He rarely talks to anyone and is given the nickname of ‘Great Lucifer’. On interviewing for the four-month assistant part-time job he meets his enemy Goo Se Ra.
- Yoo Da In plays the role of a beautiful lawyer Yoon Hee Soo. She has a perfect background and decides to join the District People’s Council. But Goo Se Ra gets in her way.
- Han Joon Woo plays the role of Kim Min Jae, Goo Se Ra’s ex-boyfriend. He works as Jo Maeng Deok’s chief secretary and closest adviser. He dated Goo Se Ra for 9 years but breaks up with her in order to fulfill his dream of becoming a young politician.
- Kim Mi Soo, Shin Do Hyun and Choi Go plays the roles of Kwon Woo Young, Jang Han Bi and Kim Ja Ryong respectively. They all are Goo Se Ra’s friends.
- Ahn Kil Kang and Jang Hye Jin are playing the role of Goo Se Ra’s father and mother, Goo Young Tae and Kim Sam Sook respectively.
- Ahn Nae Sang, Seo Jin Won, Han Dong Kyu and Lee Chang Jik are playing the role of Jo Maeng Deok, Sim Jang Yang, Jang Ha Woon and Shi Dan Kyu respectively. They all are the council members of the Jo Maeng Deok’s Group.
- Bae Hae Sun and Lee Seo Hwan are playing the role of Won So Jung and Heo Deok Goo respectively. They are the public official at the Won So Jung’s Group.
