Another highly anticipated Korean drama teased by the Netflix TUDUM (event held annually over the weekend to announce a spate of new shows on Netflix) and we can’t keep our cool!
“Gyeongseong Creature” is an upcoming Netflix original Kdrama which will have Park Seo Joon (Itaewon Class) and Han So Hee (Soundtrack #1) in the main cast. Whereas, Claudia Kim, Wi Ha Joon, Jo Han Chul and Kim Hae Sook will take the supporting roles.
In the teaser we get to see Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon’s first encounter and they are fighting with guns and knife. Han So Hee’s character looks strong as she shows some excellent fighting skills.
Later in a scene Han So Hee hugs Park Seo Joon and says “Thankyou”. At the end of TUDUM we see Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee standing so close to each other and Park Seo Joon can’t seem to take his eyes off her. While Han So Hee remains poker face.
Whatever is the mystery behind their first encounter but one can surely see the sparks of heated chemistry between the two.
“Gyeongseong Creature” will show the scenario of a time when freedom and basic human rights were not given to the people. And the young among them had to fight while risking their lives so that they can have their basic life and happiness.
Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) lives in Bukchon. Jang Tae Sang is a rich and arrogant man who isn’t concerned about others and their struggles for justice and freedom. He is currently the wealthiest man of Gyeongseong and own a pawnshop Golden Jade House. Later, he meets a woman who would change his perspective and disturb his perfect life.
Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) had a terrible past, but thanks to her father, she was able to survive in the worst situations. Today she searches for missing people and also has excellent skills in working with guns, knives and more.
Gwon Jun Taek (Wi Ha Joon) is Jang Tae Sang’s best friend and also an independent soldier. Together, both tries to save his missing colleague. Maeda (Claudia Kim) is the mistress of the powerful family that has control over the Gyeongseong area. She gets involved in the case of missing people. Nawol Daek (Kim Hae Sook) is a close acquaintance to Jang Tae Sang. She is the butler of Golden Jade House.
Kdrama “Gyeongseong Creature” comes from the writer and the PD of hit dramas like “Dr. Romantic” and “Hot Stove League”. It will release next year in 2023. It is confirmed to release in the second half of 2023. However, the exact date is yet to be disclosed.
