Exciting new pairing is likely to happen in the world of Korean dramas! Jeong Eun Ji (from Miss Night and Day) and Lee Jun Young (from Dreaming of a Freaking Fairytale) are considering to play the roles in a coming-of-age rom-com drama “24 Hour Gym” (this title is temperory).
“24 Hour Gym” drama is about Do Hyun Joong, a health freak who is the owner of a fitness center that is open 24 hours. He helps overly anxious people coming to his gym, while himself struggling to be a self-employed trainer. Meanwhile, Lee Mi Ran is a travel agency planning and development manager. In her life, she cares about two things: love of food and burning love between a man and a woman.
If confirmed, Lee Jun Young will take the role of self-employed fitness trainer, Do Hyun Joong, while Jeong Eun Ji will take the role of travel agency manager, Lee Mi Ran.
My Views: This casting is absolutely spot-on for the drama! With such well-suited actors for their roles, I’m sure they’ll bring an electrifying romance to life. And the comedy is going to be so much fun! Just think about all the awkward moments and funny misunderstandings they’ll have.
According to NamuWiki, the drama is expected to release as a KBS 2TV Wednesday-Thursday drama. And it is scheduled to air from December 18, 2024 – January 23, 2025.
