Ji Sung (Adamas) and Jeon Mi Do (Thirty-Nine) are in discussions to take on roles in an upcoming thriller kdrama titled “Connection.”
Currently, both are considering the offers to join the cast of this new SBS drama. It comes from the PD and writer of drama “Trolley” and “Diary of a Prosecutor” respectively.
“Connection” will be an intense crime investigation thriller, revolving around a group of friends who get mixed up in a big mystery when one of their high school pals dies and leaves behind a huge insurance payout of 5 billion won.
In the series, Ji Sung is slated to portray the character of Jang Jae Kyung, an inspector within the narcotics division of the metropolitan investigation team. His character is characterized by a calm and methodical nature. Jang Jae Kyung is a character who received a life insurance payout of over 5 billion won after a high school friend chose death.
On the other hand, Jeon Mi Do is expected to play the role of Oh Yun Jin, a woman who returns to her hometown after being unjustly fired from a major daily newspaper. She starts working as the head of the economics department at a shabby newspaper company. Oh Yoon Jin is a character who shows her true friendship when she hears the news that a high school friend, who was sending her living expenses while her husband and children immigrated abroad, has left her a 5 billion won insurance payout.”
Korean drama “Connection” is still getting ready, so we’ll have to wait until the first half of 2024 to see it.
