Actor Joo Ji Hoon (Jirisan) might be making a return to romance dramas with the upcoming tvN series “Love on a Single Log Bridge.”
Currently, Joo Ji Hoon is considering a role in this new drama, which tells the story of two people who were deeply in love during their school days but were forced to part ways due to family conflicts and unexpected events. Now, after 15 years, they cross paths again, reigniting old feelings and sparking a new chapter in their relationship.
If Joo Ji Hoon accepts the offer, he’ll portray the character Seok Ji Won, an executive director at Seokdong Construction. Seok Ji Won’s teenage love story with his classmate Yoon Ji Won takes a heartbreaking turn, after a misunderstanding, leading to a painful breakup. However, fate brings them together once more when Seok Ji Won becomes the chairman of Dokmok High School.
“Love on a Single Log Bridge” brings together an impressive team, with writer Im Ye Jin, known for hits like “Love in the Moonlight” and “The Tale of Nokdu,” collaborating with producing director Park Joon Hwa, who has helmed beloved dramas such as “Because This Is My First Life” and “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”
