We will soon get to see Kim So Hyun (My Lovely Liar) and Chae Jong Hyeop (Castaway Diva) falling in love in the upcoming Korean drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” (earlier known as “Is It A Coincidence?”).
The drama is based on a webtoon and it is finally confirmed to release on July 22 at 8:40 p.m. KST.
Korean drama “Serendipity’s Embrace” will tell the growth story of youth over time. Lee Hong Joo (Kim So Hyun) is an animation producer. She has been in a bad relationship before, which makes her afraid to commit to anyone. One day, she happens to come across Kang Hu Young (Chae Jong Hyeop) after 10 years. He is her first love from high school.
Kang Hu Young is a financial planner living an ordinary life in the US. However, his dull life brightens when he meets Lee Hong Joo again upon returning to Korea.
Yoon Ji On (Tomorrow) and SISTAR’s Dasom (Kokdu: Season of Deity) are also starring alongside Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop.
Yoon Ji On takes the role of Bang Joon Ho, a free-spirited writer who regrets his past and wants to change it. Whereas, Dasom will be playing the role of Lee Hong Joo’s best friend Kim Hye Ji who is a teacher.
