Earlier Kim Se Jeong was in talks for a new romantic comedy Korean drama “In The Name of Alcohol,” now actor Lee Jong Won has also joined the talks for the male lead of the drama.
Currently, both are considering to star in the drama which comes from the PD of hit 2022 rom-com “Business Proposal.” If confirmed “In The Name of Alcohol” (tentative title) will be Kim Se Jeong’s second work with the director.
“In the Name of the Alcohol” Kdrama will tell the story about a girl who works as a sales representative for a liquor corporation and attempts to save the failing business and a male protagonist who brews beer locally.
Kim Se Jeong who earlier starred in Korean drama “The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch” (2023) will be playing the role of the sales representative for a liquor corporation. Meanwhile, rising star Lee Jong Won who has recently starred in dramas like “The Golden Spoon” (2022) and “Knight Flower” (2024), is looking for the role of male lead who brews local beer.
“In The Name of Alcohol” will release on ENA. Released date yet to be disclosed.
