We all loved “Hospital Playlist” series. But do you know, Hospital Playlist spin off drama is already in works. Yes! It’s called “Resident Playbook” (or “Someday, I Will Be a Wise Resident”) and it will have Go Yoon Jung (Death’s Game), Shin Si Ah (My Darling Boyfriend), Kang You Seok (Black Knight), Jung Joon Won (A Model Family) and Han Ye Ji in the main cast.
The director and writer of popular Korean dramas including “Reply 1988,” “Hospital Playlist,” “Prison Playbook” and more will also participate in the drama along with the other director and writer. The spin-off shares the same worldview as the ‘Hospital Playlist’ series, whose seasons 1 and 2 aired in 2020 and 2021 respectively, but features different characters as the main characters.
“Resident Playbook” will tell the realistic and relatable story of growth and friendship of doctors and residents at a university hospital who go from being inexperienced to fully qualified. Go Yoon Jung and Shin Si Ah are confirmed to play the first-year Obstetrics and Gynecology residents at Jongro branch of Yulje Medical Center.
The drama is currently looking to air sometimes in the second half of 2024.
