A new exciting rom-com Korean drama is coming and Woo Do Hwan (Bloodhounds), Lee Yoo Mi (Mental Coach Jegal), Oh Jung Se, (Revenant) and Kim Hae Sook are already confirmed in the main cast.
“Mr. Plankton” will depict the lives of individuals who, like plankton (microscopic organisms), struggle to adjust or connect with others.
Hae Jo has always believed that people don’t love him because he grew up without a father. He keeps moving from one place to other. One day, a breakthrough news gives him hope of finding his father. He decides to embark on a journey to discover his roots. On his journey he gets accompanied by Jo Jae Mi.
Before accompanying him, Jo Jae Mi was about to marry Eoh Heung. She had always dreamt of having her own family but escapes on her wedding day. Eoh Heung is the heir of a prestigious family business. He needs to marry to secure the benefits of the family business. Eoh Heung pretends that Jo Jae Mi is pregnant to manipulate the situation. When Jo Jae Mi flees with Hae Jo, Eoh Heung decides to pursue them.
Wo Do Hwan is confirmed to portray the character of Hae Jo, while Lee Yoo Mi will play the role of the runaway bride, Jo Jae Mi. On the other hand, Oh Jung Se is set to play the part of heir Eo Heung, and Kim Hae Sook will be portraying Eo Heung’s mother, Beom Ho Ja.
“Mr. Plankton” Korean drama comes from the PD of drama “Juvenile Justice” and the writer of drama “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay”.
The new Netflix rom-com Kdrama “Mr. Plankton” is looking to air sometime later in 2024.
