Synopsis
“Queen of Tears” Korean drama tells the love story of the married couple Baek Hyun Woo and Hong Hae In who stayed strong during the tough times, as they encounter crisis during their third year of marriage.
Baek Hyun Woo (Kim Soo Hyun) is the legal director for conglomerate Queens Group. He belongs to Yongdu-ri village, where he remains the most successful man. He is handsome and humble by nature.
His wife Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won) is the daughter of the family that owns and operates the Queens Group. She is popular by the name “Arrogant Queen” at the Queens Department Store, as she refuses bows down to anyone.
Meanwhile, Yoon Eun Seong (Park Sung Hoon), is a famous investor coming back to Korea after living abroad for a while, and he’s getting to know the Queens family. He was an M&A expert and used to work as analyst.
Hong Soo Cheol (Kwak Dong Yeon) is the boss of Queens Mart. He’s the younger brother of Hong Hae in. He’s happily married to Cheon Da Hye who is completely opposite to his sister’s personality. Cheon Da Hye (Lee Joo Bin) is the lovely wife of Hong Soo Cheol. She’s admired in the Queens Group for her beauty, good manners, and the smart reputation of her family.
