Synopsis
“The Two Sisters” Korean drama tells the tragic tale of two sisters who were separated, but now fate has brought them together in a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship.
Formerly close sisters Lee Hye Won (Lee So Yeon) and Lee Hye Ji (Ha Yeon Joo) were split up after their parents divorced. While Lee Hye Ji moved in with her mother, Lee Hye Won continued to live with her father. They both experienced challenging times in their lives.
Lee Hye Won appears flawless as an adult, but carries an emotional scar. She’s soon to be the wife of Yoon Ji Chang (Jang Se Hyun), son of Yoon Lee Cheol, who’s the CEO of YJ Group.
Meanwhile, Lee Hye Ji went through hard times because of her abusive mother and stepfather. In an attempt to escape her lonely and poor life she decided to alter her name to Bae Do Eun. After meeting Yoon Lee Cheol, the CEO of YJ Group, she started having an affair with him, and here she finally comes face-to-face with her sister after so many years.
