Upcoming fantasy romance Korean drama “Midnight Photo Studio” has confirmed its complete cast.
With Joo Won (Stealer: The Treasure Keeper), Kwon Nara (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls), Yoo In Soo (Daily Dose of Sunshine), and Eum Moon Suk (Good Job) confirmed as the main leads, whereas Kim Young Ok, Ahn Chang Hwan, Han Groo, Lee Bom So Ri, Park Jung Ah, Han Sang Jin, Park Ki Woong and more are confirmed to take supporting roles.
“Midnight Photo Studio” Korean drama will tell the mystery thriller story of Seo Ki Joo who owns a special photo shop called “Midnight Studio” which opens only at night just for ghosts. He takes their pictures and helps them in their worldly affairs. Han Bom, a lawyer who hates unfairness, joins him unexpectedly after she starts seeing ghosts. Together, with help from two other employees, Go and Baek Nam Gu, they help ghosts in their studio and solve mysteries.
Joo Won is confirmed to take the role of Seo Ki Joo who runs a photo studio just for ghosts. He’s the seventh owner of the Midnight Studio and has been doing it for 20 years. His special camera can only be used by him, and he takes pictures of ghosts so they can move on to the afterlife.
Kwon Nara takes the role of Han Bom who is the only living person besides Ki Joo allowed in the ghostly studio. After an incident, she gains the ability to see ghosts and provides legal advice to them. Han Bom has a special power that ghosts can’t affect, making her immune to their tricks.
Yoo In Soo is confirmed to portray the role of Assistant Manager Go who is responsible for bringing in ghost customers to the photo studio. He passed away from over working and without ever dating. Go wishes to complete a bucket list of 162 items before moving on. He also has a unique ability to enter a human body for 10 minutes.
Finally, Eum Moon Suk is playing Baek Nam Goo, a new addition to the Midnight Studio, having passed away just 31 days ago. He has the powers to move objects without touching them. With a past as a detective who took down gangsters, Nam Goo’s tough and rugged appearance makes him perfect for handling difficult customers. He follows the orders of Assistant Go.
Kdrama “Midnight Studio” is based on the screenwriter’s own novel of the same name. It will release on March 11 on ENA and Genie TV original with a total of 16 episodes expected. The drama will also be available on streaming platform Viki.
