Upcoming Rom-Com Korean drama “Because I Want No Loss” (also called “No Gain, No Love”) has finally confirmed its main cast lineup.
Shin Min Ah (Our Blues) and Kim Young Dae (Moon In The Day) who were earlier confirmed for the series, are now joined with Lee Sang Yi (My Demon) and Han Ji Hyun (Cheer Up).
It is interesting to note that both Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae are reuniting with their co-stars from previous dramas.
Lee Sang Yi is reuniting with Shin Min Ah, with whom he worked once in tvN’s “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”, while Han Ji Hyun is reuniting with Kim Young Dae three years after the SBS drama “Penthouse.”
“Because I Want No Loss” will tell the story of a man and woman who enters fake marriage for certain benefits. To avoid any loss in her life, Son Hae Young fakes her marriage to a part-time worker at a convenience store, Kim Ji Wook. Kim Ji Wook also agrees to the fake marriage to avoid some harm that is effecting his life.
Kim Young Dae is confirmed to play the role of Kim Ji Wook, a civil police officer who also works part-time at a convenience store during the night. His exceptional customer care has earned him the nickname ‘Angelic Part Timer’ at the store, as he can’t resist helping people in need. One day, a regular troublesome customer, Son Ha Young, approaches him with a suspicious proposal.
Shin Min Ah will portray the role of Son Ha Young, a woman who despises losing out. When she realizes that her single status is depriving her of certain benefits, she decides to marry her ex-boyfriend. However, upon discovering that he’s marrying someone else, she opts for a fake marriage proposal to Kim Ji Wook.
Lee Sang Yi will play the role of Bok Gyu Hyeon, a third-generation chaebol, an unmarried person who does not believe in fateful love. He is the CEO of the company where Son Ha Young works. His character will have a unique relationship with the character of Shin Min Ah.
Meanwhile, the role of Han Ji Hyun is still unknown. Also actress Jeon Hye Won (My Dearest) and actor Lee Yoo Jin (Three Bold Siblings) are confirmed to take the supporting roles in the drama.
Kdrama “Because I Want No Loss” is looking to air sometimes in the second half of 2024 on broadcasting network tvN and South Korean streaming platform TVING.
