Synopsis

“Mr. Plankton” Korean drama depicts the lives of individuals who, like plankton (microscopic organisms), struggle to adjust or connect with others. Hae Jo has always believed that people don’t love him because he grew up without a father. He keeps moving from one place to other. One day, a breakthrough news gives him hope of finding his father. He decides to embark on a journey to discover his roots. On his journey he gets accompanied by Jo Jae Mi.

Before accompanying him, Jo Jae Mi was about to marry Eoh Heung. She had always dreamt of having her own family but escapes on her wedding day. Eoh Heung is the heir of a prestigious family business. He needs to marry to secure the benefits of the family business. Eoh Heung pretends that Jo Jae Mi is pregnant to manipulate the situation. When Jo Jae Mi flees with Hae Jo, Eoh Heung decides to pursue them.
