Upcoming SBS Korean drama “Good Partner” has confirmed the main cast!
Jang Nara (My Happy Ending), Nam Ji Hyun (Hi Cookie), Kim Jun Han (Anna) and Block B’s P.O (Mouse) are confirmed for the new series. It is a law drama which is interestingly being written by divorce specialist lawyer Choi Yu Na of the relatable Instagram cartoon “Marriage Red” (literal title).
“Good Partner” is a law drama about divorce lawyers dealing with big challenges at work and in their personal lives. The story focuses on Cha Eun Kyung, a well-known lawyer with 17 years of experience at Law Firm Daejung. She is called the “Nation’s Divorce Lawyer” because of her strong reputation. However, her own marriage is at risk, adding stress to her busy life.
At the firm, Eun Kyung works with Han Yoo Ri, a new lawyer who is just starting out in divorce law. Yoo Ri believes in justice and always doing what’s right. She often clashes with Eun Kyung, who puts her clients’ interests first. Despite their differences, both lawyers experience significant transformations, learning from each other while dealing with the big deals and dilemmas that come with their cases.
It is confirmed that Jang Nara will put life to the character of Cha Eun Kyung, while Nam Ji Hyun will do the same for rookie lawyer Han Yoo Ri.
Meanwhile, Kim Jun Han plays Jung Woo Jin, Cha Eun Kyung’s junior colleague and the team leader of Law Firm Daejung’s Divorce Team 2. Whenever Eun Kyung gets upset, Woo Jin steps in to calm things down.
Block B’s P.O takes a unique role this time, lawyer Jeon Eun Ho with optimistic nature. He is tasked with reducing the frequent loss of new team members on the divorce team. He takes on the responsibility of looking after Han Yoo Ri.
“Good Partner” comes from the P.D. of dramas like “Nevertheless,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Vampire Detective.” It is looking to air in the second half of 2024.
