Kdrama “Thirty Nine” (also called “39, 40”) is becoming a star-studded series as more and more new cast is being added. Recently along with Son Ye Jin (Crash Landing On you), Jeon Mi Do (Hospital Playlist) and Kim Ji Hyun (Backstreet Rookie) have been confirmed as the three female leads, while Yeon Woo Jin (Undercover), Lee Moo Saeng(The World Of the Married), and Lee Tae Hwan (Secret Royal Inspector) are confirmed as the male leads.
Korean drama “Thirty Nine” will center around the lives of three friends who are about to turn 40. It will depict the stories of their everyday struggle with career, family, friends, and romance. Cha Mi Jo (Son Ye Jin) is one of those friend who belongs to a rich family. She is the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam. Jung Chan Young (Jeon Mi Do) is a friend of Cha Mi Jo who is an acting teacher.
As Son Ye Jin plays the role of the head dermatologist at a clinic, her love interest will be played by actor Yeon Woo Jin.
Yeon Woo Jin is confirmed to play the role of a 39-year-old dermatologist, Kim Sun Woo. Since his high school, he has lived in the United States and has recently come to Korea. Kim Sun Woo is of kind and simple nature. He gets attracted to dermatologist Cha Mi Jo (being played by Son Ye Jin).
Drama “Thirty Nine” is currently scheduled to release in the first half of 2022 on jTBC.
