Synopsis
“Sweet Home Season 2” Korean drama tells the story after Season 1 which ended with Cha Hyun Soo, who gained monster wings, leaving Green Home residents fearing him.
Season 2 depicts Cha Hyun Soo, who suffered from the unclear boundary between humans and monsters, trying to create a vaccine to end this whole situation, even if he is being used. The survivors of ‘Green Home’ residents scatters after an unidentified ‘monster transformation’ incident occurs, traveling through devastated Seoul, and confronting creatures with different abilities.
Lee Eun Yu (played by Go Min Si), Yoon Ji Soo (played by Park Gyu Young) and others who survived from season 1 follow the soldiers to the safety camp, while Seo Yi Kyung (played by Lee Si Young) struggles to find her husband.
Meanwhile, Season 1 told the story of Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang) who after losing his family moves into a new apartment. Strange things start happening in his new neighborhood. People are turning into monsters and the humanity is at stake. Now Cha Hyun Soo and other people in the apartment building tries to protect themselves from the infected people who have turned into monsters. However, Cha Hyun Soo himself starts showing the symptoms of a monster, but he refuses to become one. Later, he becames a weapon to fight monsters and was the only hope for the residents of Green Home, while also being a threat.
