It is confirmed that Kim Ji Won (My Liberation Notes) and Kim Soo Hyun (One Ordinary Day) will star together in the upcoming Korean drama “The Queen of Tears”. And the two will be portraying as the married couple in the drama.
“Queen of Tears” will tell the love story of the married couple Baek Hyun Woo (confirmed Kim Soo Hyun) and Hong Hae In (confirmed Kim Ji Won) who stayed strong during the tough times.
Baek Hyun Woo is the legal director for conglomerate Queens Group. He belongs to Yongdu-ri village, where he remains the most successful man. His wife Hong Hae In is the daughter of the family that owns and operates the Queens Group. She is popular by the name “Arrogant Queen” at the Queens Department Store.
Also Kwak Dong Yeon (Gaus Electronics), Park Sung Hoon (The Glory), Kim Joo Ryoung, Na Young Hee, and Kim Jung Nan are confirmed in the supporting roles.
The drama will be penned by Park Ji Eun who has earlier penned for hit dramas like “My Love from Star”, “Crash Landing on You”, “The Legend of the Blue Sea” and more.

It is heard that the filming for “Queen of Tears” will begin from April and end in December. So, it is most likely that the Kdrama will be released at the end of 2023.
