Synopsis

“Revenant” Korean drama tells a thrilling supernatural story about Ku San Young, an ordinary woman whose life takes a dark turn when she becomes possessed by a demon from another world. Juggling her part-time job and nighttime studies to become a public officer, Ku San Young’s life takes a sinister turn when she inherits articles left behind by her deceased father. As mysterious deaths begin to occur around her, she discovers unsettling changes within herself.

Meanwhile, Yeom Hae Sang, a university professor specializing in Korean folklore, possesses the unique ability to see the demons that roam our world. Haunted by the memory of his mother’s brutal murder at the hands of a demon, Yeom Hae Sang crosses paths with Ku San Young and realizes that the demon possessing her may be the same one responsible for his own tragic loss.

Caught in the middle of this supernatural conflict is Lieutenant Lee Hong Sae, an ambitious officer in the violent crimes investigation team. Focused solely on his career advancement within the police department, Lee Hong Sae is reluctantly drawn into the enigmatic cases connected to Ku San Young and Yeom Hae Sang.
