First trailer is out for upcoming Netflix original Time-travel Mystery Romance Korean drama “A Time Called You”. And we can see the relationship of our three main leads Jeon Yeo Been (Glitch), Ahn Hyo Seop (Dr. Romantic 3) and Kang Hoon (The Secret Romantic Guesthouse) portraying a love triangle.
“A Time Called You” is based on the popular Taiwanese drama “Someday”. It will tell the story of Han Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been) who still misses her boyfriend Ko Yeon Jun (Ahn Hyo Seop) who died one year ago. One day, she finds a mysterious cassette tape that transfer her back in time to 1998. There she meets her boyfriend look alike Nam Si Heon who is in a high school. Also, her identity changes to a high school girl named Kwon Min Joo.
In 1998 Nam Si Heon is a popular student in school. Jung In Kyu (Kang Hoon) is his best friend who starts to like Kwon Min Joo.
The first teaser dropped by Netflix starts with Jeon Yeo Been opening a cassette tape which reads,
“I hope this music takes you to your happiest moment”
As she plays the tape, she thinks of the happiest moments with her boyfriend. As she recalls, the scene plays backwards. Showing her time with Ahn Hyo Seop from his death till their time in high school. Meanwhile, you can also see Kang Hoon secretly loving Jeon Yeo Been from afar. Then she says in a tear voice,
“Please, just one more time…..Let me go back to your time.”
As she says that some of the scenes plays very fast, which shows crime and police. Then suddenly we see Jeon Yeo Been opening her eyes full of tears. She is in a school library and sees Ahn Ho Seop standing in front of her.
I have heard that the original Taiwanese drama is very good. I must say here also we have a promising cast and the trailer gives quite good feelings to me.
“A Time Called You” is confirmed to release on September 8 with a total of 12 episodes on Netflix.
