[Confirmed] Girl’s Day Hyeri, Byun Woo Seok & more as Leads for Historical Romance drama

An astonishing historical romance drama is around the corner with young and bright cast already confirmed to line up.

Yoo Seung Ho (Memorist) and Girl’s day Hyeri (My Roommate is a Gumiho) earlier confirmed to star in “Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms”. Now actor Byun Woo Seok (Record of Youth) and Kang Mina (Hotel Del Luna) are also confirmed for the same. All four are confirmed in the main cast, and they will lead the series with their amazing charm.

“Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms” will tell the story of Joseon era when there were strict prohibition laws in the country. It will center around the encounter of three people with a mysterious secret at the alcohol storage that they must not reveal to stay alive. The three people are, an inspector who needs to save his family status, a poor aristocratic woman who make alcohol, and the crown prince who always finds excuses to drink.

The crown prince Lee Pyo will be portrayed by Byun Woo Seok. He is a bright personality who rebels against the prohibition laws. Lee Pyo likes drinking so much that he often sneaks out in secret to drink.

Kang Mina will portray the role of only daughter of a noble family, Han Ae Jin. She is about to marry and wishes to do so with a handsome personality. Han Ae Jin only cares about the things she likes and is also a stubborn personality.

The role of inspector Nam Young from the Office of the Inspector-General will be played by Yoo Seung Ho. Nam Young is a determined personality who moves to Hanyang. He wants to save his family status. In Hanyang Nam Young meets Kang Ro Seo.

Hyeri will be portraying the role of Kang Ro Seo, a poor aristocratic woman who make alcohol. She is the breadwinner of her family. Many people talks behind Kang Ro Seo’s back, but she ignores and works hard to earn money.

“Thinking of the Moon When the Flower Blooms” kdrama will release at the end of 2021 on KBS2. It comes from the PD of drama “Doctor Prisoner”.
