Earlier, the two stars Park Shin Hye (Sisyphus: The Myth) and Park Hyung Sik (Soundtrack #1) were in talks to star together in a new medical drama. Now, as they both have confirmed according to the news, the script reading for the drama will begin on March 4.
Kdrama “Doctor Slump” will tell a rom-com and growth story of two doctors who, despite being good in their field, are going through a slump and quit their jobs. Later they try to get back on track. Nam Ha Neul and Yeo Jung Woo are both doctors who currently have quit their jobs and live in a rooftop house. They end up becoming neighbors who fall in love as they help each other with their pain.
Park Shin Hye is confirmed to play the role of Nam Ha Neul who was burned by a medical professor (meaning that the soul is burned until it turns to ashes, which is a term used in the medical world to refer to discipline that is tamed by bullying).
While Park Hyung Sik is confirmed to play the role of another doctor Yeo Jung Woo who becomes the neighbor of Nam Ha Neul.
