Guess who might be back on your screens soon? It’s none other than actor Song Joong Ki! He’s been away from TV dramas for about two years since his last show, “Reborn Rich.” But now, he’s thinking about coming back for a new drama called “MY YOUTH” (that’s just a working title for now).
This new drama is being written by Park Si-hyun, who did the script for the popular show “Run On” (2020). And guess what? It’s being made by Song Joong Ki’s agency, HighZium Studio. They’ve said that Song Joong Ki got an offer to be in the show, and he’s thinking about it.
Song Joon Ki’s last drama “Reborn Rich” (2022) is the second highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history in both viewership ratings and number of viewers. It was also nominated for the Best TV Movie/Mini-Series at the International Emmy Awards 2023.
Song Joong Ki also became a dad last year. He got married to British actress Katie Lewis Saunders in January, and they had a baby boy in June. Despite all this, Song Joong Ki hasn’t been sitting around. He’s been busy working on movies like “Bogota” and “Ro Ki-wan,” which are supposed to come out this year. The later is coming to Netflix this March.
The details about the story of upcoming Korean drama “MY YOUTH,” female lead, and the releasing date are yet to be disclosed.
