9 New Korean Dramas Coming Your Way In April 2021

April 2021 is bringing some good legal mystery Korean dramas our way. Most of the dramas premiering in April are either based on suspense or crime genre. Apart from that we have one sitcom as well as three drama stages releasing this month.

Here is the list of all the 9 upcoming new dramas that will be airing in April 2021.

1. The Fair (Drama Stage)

tvN drama Stage “The Fair” will tell the story of a unique kind of punishment system used by the main character in the story to punish a criminal. The criminal openly killed 7 people on the live internet broadcast. The punishment system is called VCP (Virtual Crime Program).

“The Fair” is likely to release on 7 April 2021.

2. Taxi Driver

It will tell the story of an extraordinary taxi company and its drivers who are set on a special mission. Kim Do Ki (Lee Je Hoon) after graduating started working as a UDT (underwater demolition team) official. But things take a turn after his mother was murdered by a serial killer. Then he started working as a deluxe taxi driver at Rainbow Taxi Company. Go Eun (Pyo Ye Jin) is an IT specialist there who is also called as hacker by the people. Kang Han Na (Esom) who is an attorney tries to find the secret of Rainbow Taxi Company.

“Taxi Driver” is likely to release on 9 April 2021.

3. Amor Fati

Its story goes like this. Han Jae Kyung (Ahn Jae Mo) has to quit his job as a professional golfer so that his wife could fulfill her dream. She goes abroad to study. But after coming back to Korea, she asks for divorce from Han Jae Kyung. Do Yeon Hee is the daughter-in-law of a family who runs Rara Group. Her perfect life takes turn after she discovers her husband cheating. Later Do Yeon Hee finds out that she has cancer. Ahn Jae Kyung and Do Yeon Hee end up meeting each other and help with each other’s pain.

“Amor Fati” is likely to release on 12 April 2021.

4. Sell Your Haunted House

It will tell the story of a real estate agent Hong Ji Ah and a con artist Oh In Bum. Hong Ji Ah is not an ordinary real estate agent, she has the knowledge of exorcism passed on to her by her mother. She uses her knowledge to exorcise real estate buildings possessed with spirits. So, Hong Ji Ah is a beautiful yet hot-tempered real estate exorcist. Oh In Bum doesn’t believe in ghosts or evil spirits. His con artist techniques involves fooling people with ghosts and then earning money. He meets Hong Ji Ah and both team up for a mission to find the secret of Ji Ah’s mother’s death.

“Sell Your Haunted House” is likely to release on 14 April 2021.

5. Law School

It will tell the story about students and professors at law school who learn about law and also gets involved in an unusual crime case. Yang Jong Hoon (Kim Myung Min) who was a prosecutor before is now a professor at the law school. He is strict with his students and wants to build a team of good people in the law field. Kang Sol (Ryu Hye Young) is a first year student in law school who comes from a poor family. She feels inferior to the rich and smart students in her class. Kang Sol then meets a topper in her batch, Han Joon Hwi (Kim Bum). He is intelligent and good looking but there is something about him that people don’t know.

6. Substitute Person (Drama Stage)

Also called by the name “Proxy Emotions”, the drama tells a unique story about a woman who decides to live the life of her client. She becomes the substitute for other people’s feelings.

7 Lucky (Drama Stage)

It will tell a fantasy comedic story about a fairy who helps a man and a woman with some of their issues and also fulfill their wishes. The fairy’s name is Genie.

8. Undercover

Its story will center around an NIS agent Han Jung Hyun and his wife Choi Yeon Soo who is also a civil rights lawyer. Han Jung Hyun is on a secret mission for a long time which even requires him to hide his identity. During the starting days of his mission he meets Choi Yeon Soo and they both marries each other. Yeon Seo is later elected for the head position of the Civil Servant Corruption Investigation Unit. Unfortunately, Hang Jung Hyun’s secret mission involves the people around this position. Now their relationship face challenges as Yeon Seo discovers about her husband Jung Hyun’s mission.

“Undercover” is likely to release on 23 April 2021.

9. Dark Hole

The drama tells the story of a city whose people are turning into monsters after breathing a dark smoke. Lee Hwa Sun’s (Kim Ok Vin) husband was murdered. She is a detective. One day Hwa Sun gets a call from the murderer of her husband. She now moves to Muji City to find the murderer. But there she discovers that a mysterious dark smoke is causing people to turn into monsters. Lee Hwa Sun also meets a former detective Yoo Tae Han (Lee Joon Hyuk) who has been living in the city his whole life. Both join hands to save the people of Muji City.

“Dark Hole” is likely to release on 24 April 2021.

11. So I Married An Anti-Fan

“So I Married An Anti-Fan” kdrama will tell a romance story between a top star and his Anti-Fan reporter.

Hoo Joon is a top star who is also rude and arrogant in nature. One day a magazine repoter named Lee Guen Young was working at the opening ceremony of a club. There she not only sees the top star Hoo Joon’s rude attitude but also accidentally vomits on him. As a result Guen Young gets fired from her job. Thinking Hoo Joon as the reason she decides to object in front of his office.

Media gets her attention and soon she is offered to be a part of the variety show. This variety show is based on a theme which makes the top star and their Anti-Fan live together. Unknowingly she jumps into the offer out of unemployment, but Hoo Joon becomes her partner. Both gets a hard time at show but later ending up in a romance.

“So I Married An Anti-Fan” is likely to release sometimes in 30 April 2021.
